Australian Labradoodles began in the 1970’s with the Australian Guide Dog association requested to develop an allergy friendly breed for those blind people with allergies. Most people don’t realise that the Australian Labradoodle has a lineage of six pure breeds including Labrador, Poodle (Standard, Mini, Toy), English and American Cocker Spaniel, Irish Water Spaniel, Curly Coat Retriever. The infusion of this breeding is to produce the finest low to non shedding coats, hybrid vigour, shape, temperament and appearance.

About Us

At Ahgunyah Labradoodles we focus on producing top quality Labradoodles in a loving home setting. Our dogs enjoy life to the fullest in Crookwell on the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

We live on our family Sheep and Cattle property where our Labradoodles can enjoy the open spaces of our property. Mostly following me around the garden or wandering the paddocks with me checking the horses. They hang out with our family cat Tom, who is overseer and training assistant to all puppies!

Our dogs also enjoy swimming in the dam, long walks in the country side, free to sniff, sneak up on, chase and play with their pack, or just laze around under a big shady tree, wherever we are our Labradoodles are close by.
